We can restore all kinds of wooden canon and gun carriages or produce new to suit your barrel. They are all made using available plans and are made as authentic as possible. Our back catalogue includes many Field carriages and garrison carriages as well as ships cannon from all periods ranging from the tudor period through to military wooden wheeled guns used today and our work can be seen at many prestigious locations in the UK and as far afield as Tasmania.
We specialise in military wheels and we have the ability to reproduce the wheel flanges if required.
The wheels above have been made to replicate the cannon wheels used at the siege of Londonderry in the 17th century. The originals are believed to have been made by Thomas Bateman, the father of the founder of the Worshipful Company of Wheelwrights.
These wheels are of a very heavy stature and each weigh in excess of half a ton.
This page contains a snapshot of the guns that we have repaired or produced. Please contact us for more information.
